  Went here a few days ago and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my exchange. Didn't catch anyone's names but the gal on the floor (black girl, I think her and the manager spoke French to each other at one point?) was very helpful, listened to my preferences, very patient. Store was kept in a clean and tidy fashion. Super impressed with my visit!

  I had my make up done here late in 2017. I had come into the store 20 mins early because I was in a time crunch and my makeup artist took me to the chair, then the manager said she could not take me yet because they needed more staff to help customers on the floor. Even though the place only had 2 customers browsing for stuff and one staff already on the floor. I left and came back. I told the makeup artist I wanted to be done within an hour because I had an engagement photo shoot later in the evening at UBC. I was told it would take 50 mins to do earlier on the phone, she took 90 mins, even after I asked her I was in a time crunch she totally ignored that fact. The reason it took so long is because she couldn't find any of her make up and was asking around for where things were and using the samples from the floor. This was frustrating. Ended up being very late for my shoot which cost a lot. There was also a miscommunication about lashed. I had asked if lashes were included in the $50 make up application fee and she said yes, she must have misunderstood me. I brought my own lashes but since I had though they were included I picked out some MAC ones, which she ended up charging me $15 for. The make up turned out nice but it was a very stressful experience and would recommend leaving extra time for the appointment. There are other MACs that do not charge for make up application but here the artists have extra certification in make up applications. I have gotten my makeup done at a MAC that did not charge the fee and it was a very similar service, just no free mascara and you have to spend money.

  I had my makeup done by Catherine for a friend's wedding and she was absolutely amazing! I was a bit nervous but she calmed me down right away. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Thank you for your patience and for making me feel and look beautiful!
